I came to the Washington, DC area from China in 2004. My first job in the United States was working in a framing store because it was an easy way to be close to art. This allowed me to get a sense of the DC art scene, and through various events I slowly came into contact with art professors, painters, and gallery owners. I love nature, and the focus of my art is on natural things in my daily life. Most of the time I work on abstract, landscape, flowers and portraits paintings. My hope is that when people view my art, they are less interested in small drawing details and more interested in the spirit and soul of the painting.
In 2010 I became a member of  the Arlington Art Alliance.
